My Contributions:

  • Integration of new features that worked across VR and desktop

  • Implement a working multiplayer system via Unity Netcode

  • Set up, published, and shipped stable builds via Steam and AppLab

  • Collaborated and problem-solved with other developers

  • Gave demonstrations at annual conferences and local events. Demonstrated the project at the 2023 and 2024 AGU (American Geophysical Union) conference.

  • Conducted user studies to planetary data experts to obtain feedback on what we can improve

On this project, I was hired as an XR Developer to help with both virtual reality and desktop development.

Our data comes from JMARS, a GIS software developed at ASU. This ensures that users are viewing accurate data in the application.

The main goal is to provide an easier workflow to assist scientists and researchers in their work and collaboration. We achieve this by allowing users to join each other via multiplayer, users can view and compare the data associated with a terrain, get a better understanding of the terrain by viewing it in 3D, and see the data at certain points.
