On this project, I was hired as an XR Developer to help with both virtual reality and desktop development.
Our data comes from JMARS, a GIS software developed at ASU. This ensures that users are viewing accurate data in the application.
The main goal is to provide an easier workflow to assist scientists and researchers in their work and collaboration. We achieve this by allowing users to join each other via multiplayer, users can view and compare the data associated with a terrain, get a better understanding of the terrain by viewing it in 3D, and see the data at certain points.
