I created this Discord server in 2019 after realizing that there was a space lacking for The Last of Us fans to meet others who love the franchise. With the Instagram account, it is usually one-sided since the content is chosen by the server owner, and there's not a lot of interaction between followers.
To fix this issue, I made the Discord server and today, there are over 15,000 members. It is such a beautiful thing because I never would have guessed that it would have grown to where it is today. I am very grateful for all of the members who are in the community and make it such a great place to be.

Since I started this server, my goal has always been to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for members. I am happy to say that this still is the case, and the community we have built has been pretty incredible and wholesome. Excited for the future!

After watching a playthrough of The Last of Us in 2017, I fell in love with the franchise by the characters and incredible storyline. At the time, I found it really difficult to meet other fans, which led to this Instagram page being created!

My favorite thing about running this account is that I'm making a positive change. Since I have a larger following, I help other fan accounts in the community by showcasing their content and giving them shoutouts. It's amazing to meet so many incredible fans who also love and appreciate the franchise like I do.

In February 2023, I was able to obtain the inactive subreddit r/TLOU. Since then, we have been able to bring it back some activity and get the subreddit to over 5,000 members! It is very exciting and I hope for the best for the subreddit.
